A lot of Doggies…

A Great Dane, a boxer, a spaniel, some mixes and cats…all in a nights work!

Well, now that the light is extending to 8:00 the Humane Society has started their Walk after Work program back up. A great program for volunteers to come by and walk the “residents”. The dogs LOVE it and it also means it is time for me to get my sweatband back out – pictures outside! The cats and puppy’s are still indoors but the larger dogs are all trotted out one by one, for a romp in a fenced in ‘run’ where they meet me – and get their glamour shots. Unique, Cute and Sweet

Hello! As I plan for my wedding which is fast approaching, I have not had the chance to do a lot of posts of recent animal shoots much less people. I hope to get a few out soon. This is the latest shoot from Spartanburg Humane Society last night. The older dogs were super sweet, and I loved the spaniels black and white striped paws. The puppies are always great therapy. Laura – the mother of James – and I met in college and reconnected recently to photograph her new baby boy of two months – James! He is such a cutie and so tiny. This is my favorite picture because it shows his sweet dimple….

Jame’s eyes were amazing and he is a great mix between his mom and dad, Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!

Reminiscing…

Worley/Redman Engagement Sneak Peek!

Trick or Treat with a New Friend this year!

Why not make a new friend this year in time for Halloween and all the Trick or Treat goodies! As a proud pet owner myself I love to hang with my dog and he is the cutest in his jack o’lantern t-shirt! I have also learned that you double your treats with a cute partner in “crime” haha! Worley/Redman Engagement

Recently my fiance’s friend and his fiance asked me to do an engagement session for them, it was such a treat! Jennifer wanted a fall background so off to the mountains of Saluda NC we went and had glorious weather for the event. Being football fans but Jennifer being from OH and Roger from SC they had to show their team colors for the documentation of their engagement! loved it! Later we made the drive to Caro-mi dining room for pictures at their covered bridge and a wardrobe change. I am super excited to be shooting the Bridals and wedding, such a fun couple! Fall Fun with Cars

At the end of October my church (Spartanburg First Wesleyan Church) held it’s annual carshow. Cars are a passion of mine and my dad, and became even more fun when we restored his 73 Impala together. Now we are working on my 67 El Camino and hope to have it done by the end of next year. Had some great cars show up, check out some of the fun. The Thanksgiving Holiday is just over and on to Christmas we spiral. This week I visited some of Santa’s special friends at the humane society and boy did we get busy. Hello!

Highlights and Excitement…

2010 and 2011 were fun to meet new babies and weddings, engagements etc. And launching the volunteer effort at the local humane society has been very rewarding. 2012 is exciting as I will be doing bridals and a wedding and possibly two right after my own! My hubby-to-be is such a talent with lighting and is the perfect assistant. We are looking forward to 2012 being a busier year (fingers crossed) as we use our talents to capture memories. Here are a few highlights of the past two years that have made me smile…
